I am a Family Doctor specialist in Mental Health. From the beginning of my education, I knew that I was headed for mental health care and so in addition, completed a PGY3 residency year in psychiatry. My practice is situated right at the heart of the intersection of psychological symptoms and the biology that underpins them. I am a body based psychotherapist. I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR and Brainspotting which are all body based trauma therapies that use the underlying nervous system to access and release patterns that cause symptoms.
In 2009 I was blown away by my first Neurofeedback session. I had a cerebral aneurysm the year before and, while I was probably 80% recovered, I still had serious problems with brain fog and multi tasking. After my very first neurofeedback session I had a tremendous shift in clarity. I was so impressed, I bought my first NF system 5 days later and have not looked back. In 2010 I co-founded the first neurofeedback clinic in Eastern Ontario and since then neurofeedback has become much more widely available and I have seen it transform lives of others in similar ways. As you can see, I am passionate about this technology and about helping people live happy full and free lives. I look forward to working together. LB
I have over 12 years of front desk/administrative experience in various health clinics that included Podiatry and Ophthalmology, now venturing into the Neurofeedback field and eager to learn all about it and meeting everyone with a welcoming smile!
In my spare time I love to read, I have a passion for all things food, restaurants and more food! I love traveling and exploring new cities and spending time with my Family.

Dr. Susan Chiddix
I am a Registered Psychologist and completed my Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology in 1985 from the University of Texas at Austin. My dissertation was in the area of male-female relationships and I have a special interest in helping people deal with relationship issues.
I work with a wide variety of issues including: depression, anxiety disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder, recovery from sexual abuse, bereavement, low self-esteem, stress management, anger management, compulsive overeating and recovery from auto accidents. I use clinical hypnosis to help people with a number of issues including stress and anxiety, smoking cessation, weight loss, sleep issues, procrastination, phobias, fear of flying and chronic pain.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, EMDR and Couples Therapy, as well as being certified in clinical hypnosis by the Canadian Society for Clinical Hypnosis (Ontario Division).
In the last five years I have been integrating Neurofeedback into therapy and find it is a significant addition to my counselling work. As well as working at ClearMind, I have a practice at Telka Smith.
Mary Hamilton, BST, RYT
I have a Behavioural Science Technology diploma from St. Lawrence College and have used it to serve others for the past 32 years, supporting change through behaviour modification and therapy. The most recent 10 years I have supported folks working with Dr. Beckett using neurotherapy to maximize their health and well being. I have specialty training in qEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback and neuromodulation techniques. I am also a registered yoga teacher and a psychological first aid instructor.
My free time is spent in my personal yoga practice, gardening and biking on all the great trails we have here in eastern Ontario. One interesting fun fact about my life is that I have attended circus arts classes and even once did a flying trapeze class, talk about enlightenment-25 feet in the air!

Becca Dietrich, BA (psych)
I obtained my Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology degree with distinction from St. Lawrence College. I am passionate about learning and plan to continue to pursue further education. I have a myriad of experience practicing behaviour management with multiple populations, including those with a variety of mental health diagnoses.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy hiking, playing sports, listening to podcasts, exercising, reading a good thriller, and learning to play the piano.
I am passionate about working with individuals to create possibilities for positive change. I am fascinated with the implications of neurotherapy and its valuable outcomes for wellness and mental health. I am excited to continue experiencing the positive outcomes neurotherapy has on neuroplasticity and behaviour with you at ClearMind!
