The human side of real change.
Behavioural therapy is the human side of our neuroscience work. When the brain is primed by neurofeedback and neuromodulation and the mind is engaged in therapy, the results build on each other, and the change holds.
Therapy that meets a primed brain.
Body-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT and Deep Brain Reorienting. Delivered by a multidisciplinary team of MSW, RP and Ph.D. clinicians.
We work with the nervous system to reach and release the patterns driving your symptoms. When therapy runs alongside neurofeedback and neuromodulation, it goes a lot further. The brain is calmer, more flexible and ready to take in new patterns the moment they show up in the room.
This is what we do best: running psychotherapy and brain training in the same session. When the brain is primed through stimulation and the mind is engaged in therapy, the work builds on itself.
Three parts working together
- Neurofeedback trains the brain for sharper, steadier patterns.
- Neuromodulation helps the brain heal and reorganize when there is a medical need.
- Behavioural therapy turns those changes into a new relationship with yourself, your history and your life.
The approaches we draw from
Every client and every condition is different. We match modality to person, and often layer several of them into a single course of treatment.
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
Body-based, trauma-informed work that helps release the nervous-system patterns held beneath cognition.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Structured, evidence-based trauma work used alongside brain training.
Brainspotting
A focused, gaze-based approach for reaching and releasing traumatic and somatic content that the cortex alone cannot get to.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Structured, skills-based work on thought patterns and behaviours. Particularly useful for anxiety, depression and life transitions.
Deep Brain Reorienting
One of the newest trauma modalities. It works with the brainstem layer of the threat response to address trauma at its earliest neurological trace.
Integration Coaching
The in-between work. Translating what the brain is learning in session into habits, relationships, sleep, movement and the shape of daily life.
